When planning curriculum, our preschool teachers refer to VIRGINIA’S EARLY LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS (ELDS) BIRTH-FIVE LEARNING GUIDELINES.   These standards come from the Virginia Department of Education and can be viewed here:
